Billitier Street – Bronze Work

London

Survey | 3D Model | Reverse Engineer | Pattern Printing | Investment Casting | Bronze Welding

19–21 Billiter Street is a Grade II listed building, originally constructed in 1865 and once home to the London Shipping Exchange. We were commissioned to carry out repairs and restore missing elements of the building’s bronze lobby entrance gates.

Originally installed in the late 1800s, the gates had suffered the loss of several components over the years and had been subject to numerous modifications to accommodate locks and handles. To restore them accurately, we 3D-modelled the missing parts and produced investment-cast replicas where needed. Areas that had been drilled or altered were carefully bronze-welded with new sections to match the original design.
