Glebe Place

Chelsea, London

Survey | Design | CNC Files | Fabrication

Glebe Place in London runs between King’s Road and Upper Cheyne Row. Many of the properties feature basements accessed via exterior cast-iron staircases. We were commissioned to recreate one of these basement stairs without the high cost of producing new castings. The basement entrance was irregular in shape, requiring a cost-effective and adaptable design solution. After surveying the site, we developed a 3D model and used it to generate 2D files for laser profiling the components of a fabricated steel staircase.
